Reiki is an ancient form of energy healing that can be used alone or with other treatments including conventional medicine. Used in hospitals and other facilities, Reiki is gentle, non-invasive and can be given by anyone trained and committed to its principles.
Many caregivers who might want to learn and practice Reiki can also give this healing energy to themselves.
Training is based upon the principles of Dr. Mikao Usui. In this class you will learn the history of Reiki, how it came to the West and how to be a compassionate caring practitioner. You will have ample opportunity to practice Reiki on yourself and others.
Everyone who successfully completes the program receives a handbook of insructions and a certificate as a Reiki Level I Practitioner. Nurses receive continuing education credits.
Taught by Peg Doyle, Reiki Master since 1997 and teacher to more than 500 students.
