I typically think of a chilled breakfast as something I only eat in the warm weather, but for those of you who aren’t affected by the cold, you could use this recipe year-round.. It’s packed with 26 grams of protein and having a hefty dose of protein in the morning is proving to be a hunger quencher. Try it and you’ll likely find you have fewer cravings and less hunger through the day. But don’t forget lunch and dinner. Having three nutritious meals daily stands the test of time for managing weight and crushing cravings.
Here are the ingredients and instructions
3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1/3 cup dry whole oats
2 T. milk or other liquid
1 t. chia seeds
1 cup mixed frozen fruit
1 T. slivered almonds
mason jar
Mix yogurt, oats, milk and chia seeds in bowl,
Add half of mixture into mason jar
cover with 1/2 cup frozen fruit
add remaining yogurt mix
add remaining fruit
garnish with slivered almonds
Make the night before and tore in fridge for breakfast. You can make 2 or 3 and have them ready in advance.
