Is Farmed Salmon Safe?

s farmed salmon safe to eat? This question comes up frequently and because of that I am posting a great article describing the process for both farmed and wild fish before they reach your kitchen.

I love salmon and tend to eat it once or twice a week. Sometimes it's baked with dijon mustard, salt and pepper and fresh herbs; other times it's grilled and dressed with herbs and fresh lemon before serving. In either case it only takes 20 minutes start to finish to prepare.

In winter I bake it at 375 degrees F. and may serve it with whipped parsnips and spinach, or brown rice and roasted Brussels sprouts; in warm weather it's more apt to be grilled and served with asparagus and corn on the cob.

They are committed to sustainability practices and posted this very informative article that should put to rest many of the concerns around farmed salmon. https://www.northcoastseafoods.com/blogs/know-seafood/is-farm-raised-salmon-bad-for-you?comment=127507759276#comments
